# The Blockchain Built to Scale

Our GDPC Token is built on the Avalanche (AVAX) C-Chain. We selected Avalanche as our network for several reasons. Avalanche is safer than the average smart contract blockchain. The network has never been breached, and its open-sourced code has been audited by multiple security firms and certified as safe. Avalanche set a new bar for scalability, without sacrificing speed, reliability, and security.

According to Cryptocurrency exchange KRAKEN, **“How does Avalanche network work?”** Avalanche is built using three different blockchains in order to address the limitations of the blockchain trilemma. Digital assets can be moved across each of these chains to accomplish different functions within the ecosystem. <https://www.kraken.com/learn/what-is-avalanche-avax>

According to an article by “AVAXHOLIC” published on September 21, 2022, Avalanche Leads The Trend Of Tokenization Of Global Illiquid Assets In Crypto. Tokenization is the process of using blockchain and smart contracts to create digital tokens that represent ownership or rights associated with that underlying asset. Illiquid assets include; Pre-initial public offering (IPO) stocks, Real estate, Private debt, Revenues from small and medium businesses, Physical art, exotic beverages, private funds, wholesale bonds and many more.
